Akshay Kumar starrer Padman is hitting the box office with the hike of 35%. But a movie without a controversy is incomplete. Audience loved the concept without knowing the fact that concept has been copied from a writer who officially registered his story and sent it to Dharma productions.
On 5th December Ripu Daman Jaiswal had officially registered the story from SCREEN WRITER ASSOCIATION based on Arunachalam Muruganantham who is known for his work based on biodegradable sanitary pads for rural women. The script was sent to Ryan Stephen, creative head of Dharma Productions.
On 16th December headline regarding Twinkle Khanna production house announcing the start date of shooting movie named Padman came to the notice of Ripu Daman Jaiswal.
He further added that 11 of the scenes have been directly copied and paste into the movie. The fictional scene of rakshabandan was a thought of Ripu as he knows that Arunachalam has no sister in real life.
On 10 February he tweeted and warned the filmmakers that now the matter will be pushed in court and rest of the result from battle will be in law’s hand. He has also shared the screenshot of his script on Twitter.
