The showman of Bollywood, Subhash Ghai who founded its iconic production house Mukta Arts on October 24 1978, celebrated its 39th year anniversary yesterday at the Iskon Temple in Juhu. The veteran film maker along with his close family members and staff members held a small puja followed by a brunch session to rejoice this grand occasion.
Mukta Arts Limited is one of India’s leading production houses with business interests across the entertainment spectrum from Exhibition to Education. The well-known production house has set a record in itself by producing over 42 movies, distributing 400 movies, exhibiting 79 screens, venturing into the field of education with Whistling Woods International, have spread wings in digital section with Connect.1 Studio, in the Foxconn section with WWI Media Lab, in google with You Tube Space Media, in Sony with Media Technology, in Pioneer with Corporatisation & Film Insurance and now is soon going to spread its arms in Web Series, TV Production and Short Films by the year 2018.
The veteran director, producer and screenwriter Subhash Ghai who has been in the film industry for more than four decades now and has given some of the classic cult movies in the 90’s is looking forward for a bright future of Mukta Arts Pvt which is surely going to continue it’s motto of delivering some of the finest projects towards Indian Cinema.
Talking about it, Subhash Ghai says, “The best thing I learnt since my childhood is to embrace the change and to step up for your future. I love to march with time or ahead of time, that is what excites me always. Let’s see what’s in my bag next ?”
Mukta Arts have charged up their sleeves and are all set to take up the production house in a big way in early 2018. They are going to focus on movie productions which will go on floor in 2018 and as Ghai mentions just wait and keep a watch!
