Sonakshi Sinha Said Sonam Kapoor Gave Her Attitude, Then Denied It

Now, we don’t know about the true nature of the Hindi film industry, but if the film Page 3 is anything to go by, it’s not the easiest place to survive in. Gossip, drama, and cliques seem to be constant features of the industry’s social circles. The latest on that involves star kids Sonam Kapoor and Sonakshi Sinha.

According to reports, Sonakshi went on the talk show Vogue BFFs, and said that Sonam Kapoor “showed attitude” towards her. Of course, we know what you’re thinking. Sonam Kapoor has always been one of the cool, fancy star kids with a brutally honest personality. Is it so unlikely that she did indeed give poor Sonakshi attitude? Let’s investigate.

Helmed by the sassy and sharp-tongued host and actress Neha Dhupia, this episode of Vogue BFFs also saw designer Manish Malhotra make an appearance. On the show, Sonakshi said, “Once Sonam showed me a lot of attitudes and I think that was kind of unnecessary.” Not one to let things go, Sonam took up the matter on Twitter and apologized to Sonakshi for whatever “attitude” she might have given her. Sonam wrote: “Sona, I’ve always been warm towards you. Don’t remember showing you attitude! If you feel that way I’m sorry.”

After Sonam extended this olive branch, Sonakshi backtracked on her original statement and tried to pretend like it was all “blown out of proportion”, which also happens to be Bollywood’s favorite dialogue about everything. In fact, Sonakshi also said that she was “coaxed” into delivering this scathing critique of Sonam’s social behavior once upon a time, which to us is a bit hard to understand.

You see, Manish Malhotra was praising Sonam and calling her talented on the show when Sonakshi decided to add her bit. So we certainly feel like someone needs to figure out who or what exactly caused Sonakshi to randomly throw shade at the now very cautious and diplomatic Sonam.
